Your tour guide in Carcassonne
Hello, I’m Caroline, a certified tour guide, and I invite you to (re)discover the Cité de Carcassonne in a new light. A lifelong history enthusiast, I am officially trained and authorized to guide you through the treasures of this exceptional place, from the Château Comtal to the ramparts weathered by time.
Before becoming a guide, I studied history and heritage, complemented by recognized European professional studies. This background has allowed me to develop solid expertise and a true understanding of the art of storytelling, as well as the pleasure of sharing it authentically.
My tour philosophy
I envision each walk as a moment of conversation and connection. Far from grand pronouncements, I prefer closeness, exchange, and sharing little secrets. My ambition? That upon leaving, you feel closer to history, and that every stone speaks to you.
What sets me apart
My background
I’ve always loved traveling and meeting new people. After training in tourism, I settled in Malta, where I lived for over ten years. It was there that I earned my tour guide certification.
After the health crisis, I felt the need to be closer to my family and moved to Carcassonne, in the Aude region.
